This year, Scuba Shack is launching our summer scuba program just for kids. This five day program is the only one of it's kind in New England, and offers full scuba certification - in just seven days - for kids between 12 and 18 years of age.

The program starts on June 23 and finishes up the weekend of June 28 & 29 with open water certification dives at Brownstone Park in Portland.

The cost of this years program is $399 per student plus $60 for materials. All students must have their own scuba-quality mask, snorkel, fins and boots.

The first five days are held at Scuba Shack in Rocky Hill and at Brownstone Park for confined water training. The class starts at 9:30 a.m. and the day ends at 4:30 p.m. Bring a lunch or purchase on-site at Brownstone Park.

Class will normally finish prior to 4:30 p.m. and the class fee includes Adventure Sports passes for each day while the student is at Brownstone Park. The Adventure Sports Pass includes access to all activities at the park including zip lines and the new wakeboard park!
