Master Scuba Diver

Scuba Shack's Rescue Diver training prepares you to prevent problems and, if necessary, manage dive emergencies. Many divers say this is the best course they’ve ever taken.

During the program, you'll cover, self-rescue and diver stress, emergency management and equipment, panicked diver response, in-water rescue breathing protocols, egress (exits) and dive accident scenarios.

Prior to certification, each participant must show proof of certification in CPR and first aid. Scuba Shack belives that each Rescue Diver should also be well versed in automated external defibrillator (AED) use, oxygen administration, on-site neurological assessments and hazardous marine life injuries. With this training in mind, Scuba Shack offers a combined program from Emergency First Response and the Divers Alert Network.
